The flower meadow underneath the old apple tree; lung worth, primula, violets, blue bells – there are even a few snake head frittilary
…growing in between the lung worth
wild violets
Kind of a good excuse not to mow the lawn?

Oh wow! Really amazing Anna and thanks for sharing these beautiful photo’s with us! It sure is a great excuse for not mowing the lawn and a better excuse to just sit and relax as you are not allowed to. LOL! *hugs*

You’re welcome! crawling around the grass on my hands and knees, snapping away, is so much more fun than mowing! x

Wasn’t that long ago that you had heaps of snow. How great it must feel to have spring arriving.

It’s extraordinarily beautiful, isn’t it? I’ve got the primroses and violets in my grass, but not the fritillaries, you lucky thing. I mow mine, but it takes me ages to go round all the clumps!

Your garden is so naturally beautiful, full of colour. Is it a secret garden? Also, thanks for enjoying my blog post.

Hi; yes it is pretty secret and full of wonder. I share it with fox and badger and lots and lots of birds, wild flowers and beautiful butterflies and faeries.
