So many plans for tidying up the garden today; but how can I mow my lawn with a fox fast asleep in the middle of it?

So instead I do some light weeding; the recent rain has made everything shoot up overnight

The tree fern is looking very impatient…
This palm tree used to live in a pot in my greenhouse. I’m guessing she likes it better free range.
Lambs ears, roses and figs…

Fox is curious about my chicken poo pellets

The bees are mad about my echium pininana

…and fox says; chill.

About Anna
I am a ceramic sculptor living on the South coast near London, England. My work is influenced by my experience of the earth as a living being and seeing how we are all connected with eachother and with the things that surround us.
I create ceramic torsos using molochite clay which I often smokefire in galvanised dustbins. I also make House Gods to protect and amuse, and Fat Birds - little smokefired sculptures that tell the story about what it is like to be a fat bird at peace with its surroundings.
Awesome 🙂 Great photos Anna.

Thank you, Jane. I asked a gardener to come and strim the grass; after two hours she threw up in a flower bed and went home.
