House Gods

The ancient Romans had a great take on home insurance. Each family had their own set of personal Gods that would protect against fire, ill health or bad luck. Most of the Gods would be passed on down the generations, but new additions would appear from time to time.
Here is my take on House Gods with suggested areas of influence. Load them up with your own good intent and watch them grow.

Two House Gods both excellent for protecting shoes, remote controls and other non essential items.

This special House God is full of fun and joy and will guard against Monday Morning Blues. Charge him up with your intent and believe he will deliver smiles.

This fortright and friendly House God will protect whatever you wish. Load him up with good intent and please remember that he will only protect frivolous and unnessesary items.

About Anna

I am a ceramic sculptor living on the South coast near London, England. My work is influenced by my experience of the earth as a living being and seeing how we are all connected with eachother and with the things that surround us. I create ceramic torsos using molochite clay which I often smokefire in galvanised dustbins. I also make House Gods to protect and amuse, and Fat Birds - little smokefired sculptures that tell the story about what it is like to be a fat bird at peace with its surroundings.
